The architect wanted a sheet-like veil that could transmit lightness and transparency like a silk scarf in a windy day.
The result was achieved by welding a anodized silver metal sheet with another golden creased metal mesh on the top of it and modeling 4 ,700 unique pieces in an harmonious structure.
Metalltech studied the wind and snow loads for the pavillon paying particular attention to the maintenance and cleaning process, thus implementing a structure which allowed the different panels to “open” in order to be cleaned beneath.
