The project is composed of three buildings: the Carioca Arena 1, 2, and 3. To connect the arenas, the architect designed a manifold belt in order to emphasize the organic shape of the structure.

The belt substructure is wood-made and the belt is entirely made of a light metal mesh which provides a shading effect for those in the corridors.
